VBU Integrated Controller

VBU integrated controller is a pure electric vehicle power integration controller based on the Infineon aurax series TC234-32-bit chip designed and developed by Tianjin yidingfeng Powertrain Technology Co., Ltd. This controller integrates 5 independent can bus receiving and receiving nodes (one with can wake-up function and two can-fd functions), and has rich high and low side drive output, analog and digital signal detection interfaces.

1.Summary

1.1 With the development of integration and domain controller, Tianjin yidingfeng integrates the main control functions of VCU and BMS to form a new product VBU.Cooperate with the company's BMS RMU products or self-developed BMS acquisition unit,VBU1000 obtains the parameter information of battery pack through controller area network and controls the closing and opening of contactors in battery pack or high voltage box,the BMS in the package is simplified as a simple sensor and actuator. Therefore, the research and development cycle of the power system is shortened and the research and development cost is lower, and the overall cost is better.

1.2 In addition to the related functions of VCU, VBU1000 controller also integrates some core algorithms such as battery management and SOC. The integration of these algorithms in a MCU can optimize the driving comfort, improve the driving range and reduce the power consumption of vehicles. At the same time, VBU1000 can more effectively realize the control system platform, greatly shorten the process of various models matching and marketing.

2.Product Features

2.1 The core algorithm of BMS battery management and vehicle control strategy are integrated into the same controller for calculation. Only one TC234l-32-bit chip is used to meet the calculation requirements, which greatly reduces the product cost.

2.2 It has 5-way CAN communication interfaces and rich input and output interfaces. It is designed based on product platform requirements and is suitable for different models based on battery management and vehicle control management. It has strong function expansion ability.

2.3 Self check and hardware protection diagnosis function is comprehensive, including hardware power reverse connection protection, power surge, overvoltage protection, ESD protection (anti-static), power device overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating protection, input and output pin to ground, short circuit and open circuit protection and diagnosis.

2.4 Dual CPU and a variety of redundant design of the security architecture to meet the functional security design of ISO26262.

4.Product Structure And Principle

4.1 VBU1000 hardware scheme design: VBU1000 hardware integrates the hardware interface required by the whole vehicle control of electric vehicles and the vehicle end interface required by traditional battery management, including key signal, pedal signal, gear signal, charging signal detection interface, CC activation, CP activation interface, relay drive, motor H-bridge drive control pin, etc.

4.2 VBU1000 includes five CAN (Controller Area Network) communication interfaces to meet the needs of domain controller, including charging CAN network, sub board communication CAN network, and three vehicle CAN communication networks. One of them supports CAN-FD function.

4.3 VBU1000 software scheme design: VBU1000 software integrates a full set of algorithm software required for electric vehicle control and battery management. The management system in the battery pack only includes parameter acquisition function and simple switch control function. VBU1000 software part is mainly divided into bottom software and application layer software.

4.4 Standard calibration support: Standard CCP calibration tools and mature software calibration system are supported to facilitate vehicle debugging and calibration.
